English Channel on your back

So this person crossed the English Channel solely by backstroke. Walked in and out backward . That's got to be the most comfortable way to cross the Channel? You also just need to look at the pilot and support boat for directions and to know how far you have been into. I haven't found a video of long distance open water backstroke. If anyone knows please link for me.

Yeah, I don't think I could do the backstroke for that long. I sort of freak out that I can't see what is behind me too. Props to anyone that can actually make it across the Channel that way though.
