So this may be a dumb question for some of you pros out there, but where do you stash a gel for a 90+-ish minute race? I'm hoping to get by without one this weekend, but does it make sense to stash one on your body somewhere? Where do you do it where it doesn't chafe or move to a rather inappropriate place? :blush:
For a 90+/- minute race most people really don’t need additional in race carbs. I suggest you get well hydrated before the swim. However, if you do want to carry a gel, just tuck it under your suit next to your leg.
I stick under the bottom hem of my jammers. I will also sometimes stick a gel flask with gatorade in it in the small of my back in the suit, it only holds 8 ounces, but it can help a lot.
