Can anyone offer some suggestions for a ~30 minute ocean swim workout (idk, maybe in terms of intervals, speed work/build...whatever you might typically do while training in open water...do you do any drills/stroke work, etc?). I have searched but can only seem to find previous postings on open water training sets in the pool.
I'm going on vacation to Destin in a few weeks and want to continue swimming that week and thought it would be a nice change of pace. :)

haha, thanks for the tip coach! That's kind of what I thought but hoped that was not really how open water swimmers train while outside of a pool. SOunds entirely boring to me! If not for the nice scenery, I will probably be happy to get back to my black line and pace clock.
