I've looked and looked, and I don't see any water temperature data for the Allegheny near our swim. The closest point where I found temperature data is at "Emsworth Lower Pool" on the Ohio River, which look to be about 5 miles downstream from where we'll be. Here is the link:

I was in the river last week. If I had to guess, I'd say it was upper 70's then. Likely to be warmer now.
The temperature of the Allegheny River where the swim event takes place varies as it is a moving body of water . . .
In the past years, the water temps have been 79 - 82 degrees at the time of the swim.
