Anyone have a lead on a db or calendar for OW swims in South America? The fam and I are planning a trip for winter 2013, and the wife has told me that she'll go anywhere that speaks Spanish and has an OW swim for me! Now, I just can't find a calendar.

A friend of mine in Costa Rica sent me this link: us4.campaign-archive2.com/ It's for March of this year, but you might be able to contact the organizer for more details about 2013.
It's in Playa Coco which is on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, not far from the airport in Liberia.
I love Costa Rica--I lived there from 2004-2005. There are a million fun things to do while you're there. The dry season ("summer") is from November/December thru April.
I too love Costa Rica. We did Tortuguero, Arenal, Monteverde, then finished our trip with a few days relaxing at a resort on the Pacific side a little southwest of Liberia. The people were the nicest I've ever encountered on a trip, very welcoming and appreciative of travelers.
