Toying with the idea for 2012 as a charity fundraiser.
does anyone know water current average for the distance and the average temp of the water Sept - Nov?
Oh! and how polluted is the water in the MO?

There is an annual canoe race from Kansas City to St. Louis. It is called the "Missouri 340" because it is 340 miles long. The 2011 race began yesterday and is in progress. Participants are allowed 88 hours to finish the race and, according to the race web site, "...To finish this race in 88 hours is a huge accomplishment. Only 2/3 of the teams were able to do that last year."
