Has anyone on the forum completed this swim?
Toying with the idea for 2012 as a charity fundraiser.
does anyone know water current average for the distance and the average temp of the water Sept - Nov?
Oh! and how polluted is the water in the MO?

I suggest you contact the Kansas Riverkeeper, who also happens to be a swimmer. You can contact her through the Friends of the Kaw at www.kansasriver.org. While the Friends of the Kaw focus on the Kansas River, I believe they are involved with the KC-to St. Louis canoe race each year and I am sure they are familiar with the Missouri River.
