any posters here have personal experience with this swim?
seems like a great event / destination swim to take a long weekend... I won't do the event in 2011 but very interested in 2012.

I've done it twice. It's a great swim. It's not too big, mainly locals, probably 50-60 swimmers. It's well supported and there is a nice party afterwards.
Does anyone have information on how to register for the October 2012 event? I've done lots of Google searches and emailed a few people from previous events and not heard anything.
