Hi
I am wondering if anyone is thinking about/is competing in/or has entered in the Guam Cocos Island crossing open water swim in Merizo.
It is being held in May this year.
Would love to know if you're entering in it, or hearing about past experiences.

It's been a long time since I swam in the waters around Guam, 1989.
if the weather is nice it was a lot of fun swimming there. there is a coral reef about 200-500yds from most beaches.
there were back then lots of jellyfish from time to time. stone fish and other things you don't want to step on.
But if I could afford it, I would love to take my family there for 2-3 weeks as well as participate in that race.
there is even a nice OW race in saipan just a quick flight away that I swam 3-4 times as a kid.
