bob - if you're interested in forming a relay team in the future, i would be interested... would be willing to make the relay a fundraiser and would be positive for a two-man relay

I just got an email from NYC clearing up my confusion. The July 2011 relay date is only for those who attempted to get in the June MIMS. However, I may sign on to be an on-boat observer for the swim.
It would be fun doing a 2 person relay, regrettably I am going to try to get accepted for a solo in 2012 so I won't be able to take you up on the offer. Maybe another time.
