I'l be volunteering the start of the Distance Swim Challenge in Manhattan Beach, 12.6 mile distance. Water is finally warming up!

Water is finally warming up! Shhh -- don't tell anybody. I'm afraid you'll jinx it. (I'm signed up for the 12.6, and I'm very superstitious. Got in just south of the Santa Monica pier this morning. Let's just say that both the water temp and the current put a smile on my face.)

You Da Man, Dave! I don't think anyone hase EVER had a season like you in 2010. Next, move to Florida so you don't have to cram all these events into 6 months.

ken, i did the bob roper bridge swim last year... love swimming in the bay! amanda, totally forgot about round the sound..... my bad. ron, fla is a nice place to visit, but...........

I wasn't even going to mention the Round The Sound 10k swim is on in Bermuda the same day...I hope it's rough! 4 inch waves! 80 degree water! Only the strong survive! I believe it's on the 17th, so one could take part in one of these other events then take a flight to the tropics.
