OW at pool meets

So with the increasing popularity of OW swimming, how long til we see OW events offered at pool meets? Probably a planning nightmare, I'm sure, but I'm hoping to see more OW choices out there. What say you?

I swam the "open water" at the Indy meet this summer. The 50 meter pool was set up with no lanes, just bouys at each corner. As I am not at all competitive, hard to say those that are how they liked it, but I found it to be much fun, and would like to do it again. Not knowing how to pace myself, as I must or be prepared to be the first person ever needing rescued at a swim meet, I was conservative at the start (thats my story and am sticking with it) but really like the last couple of laps when I picked up the pace. Not the same as an open water, but much different than a regular meet.
