Summer Open Water Lake Erie (Bay Village)
* Facility: LAKE ERIE
* Location: Columbia Road Park where Columbia Road dead ends into Lake Road. Parking lot available across from the park on Lake Road.
* Schedule: Since swimming is a day-to-day schedule, it is best to call Doug and Marianne Brogan at 440-835-0142(h).
* Generally, it's Monday thru Friday at 8:00 a.m., Saturday at 7:10 a.m., Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Brunch to follow swim; bring whatever.
* If lake conditions are not conducive to swimming, we may proceed to the OMSC pool practice in nearby Lakewood.
Drop-in fees are as follows:
$5.00 if you are a member of another OMSC practice group.
$8.00 if you are not a member of another OMSC practice group.
$25.00 will get you six drop-in swims at the Lakewood Practice.

* Although there is not exact information on water conditions at Columbia Road Beach, information from the next closest beach, Huntington Beach, is available here.

I'm traveling to Cleveland, Ohio, on business from August 25 through august 30. Is anyone aware of open water swim possibilities?
Don't know of organized swims, but there is a beach just west of the mouth of the Cuyahoga. It was nice last time I was there.
