This time she was in the water for 30 of her 31 days afloat, swimming six hours a day and covering up to 17 miles a day. In total she swam for 139 hours and 25 minutes, covering 300.86 miles of the 2,186-mile trip. That's about 50 more miles than last year's swim, an endeavor that harvested a media maelstrom over her claim to have "swam across the Atlantic."
At least the press release and or reporting got it right this time.
