This is the first annual Coeur'd' Alene Open Water Swim on August 14th. It's a new event, so thought I would pass it along. FYI- this is a cold water lake, but in August it is more of a "cool water" lake!

I think it is unfortunate that they decided to pick 8/14. This is the same date for the Deer Creek swim (Salt Lake) that was on calendar for some time. Deer creek has a 1 mile, 5K, 10K & 10 mile. I am doing the 10 mile. If CdA had picked 8/15 I would have swum both. It would be nice if these 2 organizations had worked together on their dates
