I moved to Arizona nine years ago from California. The closest open bodies of water I have near me are the string of lakes along the Salt River, but at least I some form of open water to swim in now and then without trekking all the way to my home town of Long Beach.
Thanks! I love living out on the west coast... I'm about 4 hours north of Long Beach so the water is a lot colder here, but I can still swim pretty much all year so I can't complain too much :D
