I had a heck of a time going back into the club and getting back into all that chlorine. I enjoyed the swim though. I was able to keep my arms in shape this fall by rowing. I restored a Vietnam riverboat...its like four hundred pounds. Here is a vid of it..don't be fooled by the Title or the beginning if the video...you will see this boat....Okay, I open water swim..so i have a great dislike of anything that burns fuel in water...this boat blends right in with the landscape..it came right out of the jungles of the Mekong delta..I put about sixty hours into it. Off topic..man did i put on the weight this fall ...starting my training for next season..best wishes for the new year. YouTube- Steak and Eggs, Mustang Chef
  • Cool vid! When you whipped out the knife and the duct tape for your kitchen clogs, I thought for a second that I was watching the "Red Green Show." :D Your row boat is really nice, but I especially liked your truck. The flames are a really nice touch. Thanks for sharing.
  • Sometimes I think, if more people swam, this world would be a more peaceful place... I couldn't agree more. I believe it's the effect the negative ions have on our bodies. I know I am always happier either in or around water, whether it be a fountain, pool, lake, stream, river, waterfall, ocean, or rain. I especially love walking in the fog, which is a rare occurrence in my neck of the woods.

Sometimes I think, if more people swam, this world would be a more peaceful place...then I recall Saddam had a big pool..he must not have swam much in it.
