I wondered If there are any open water swims in Lake Huron and Lake Ontario? I swim the Lake Erie ows in July and Big Shoulders (Lake Michigan) in July. I also see there's the Point to LaPointe in Lake Superior. I'd like to race in every Lake.

There was recently, three open water swims in northern Michigan in both Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. They were all in the month of August because lately that seems to be when the water is at its warmest. We used to schedule Open Water swims in June and July but the last couple of years the water temperatures have been below 60 degrees before July 4 and you do not get very good attendence with these kind of temperatures.
Harbor Springs has an Open Water Swim every year and this year they had an extra day and had the National 10K Open Water Swim Championship. Traverse City had an Open Water swim a week later in Grand Traverse Bay and both of these swims are in Lake Michigan. Then the following week there was an Open Water Swim in Alpena, in Lake Huron.
