Ok, so the more they email me, the more I get nervous about the water temp. Last year it was 69 which stung to get in, but it made for a nice swimming temp. By the end, though, my fingers and toes felt a little numb, but that could have been tired (??).
But this year, it could be up to 10 degrees colder?! What to do when the coolest water I can find here in Cincinnati is 80?

Man...did I make a mistake... I simply posted a question concerning water temperature, and now my inbox has been flooded with all these replies... Seems to me that 1. Big Sholders needs to do a better job policeing their course, they should KNOW no one cut a bouy.... And I am sure they will do better in the future. 2. Based on best information availabled Andy won the race. Speculate all you want, put an * by his name in your copy of past years results if it makes you feel better. but Give it a rest, the results are not going to be changed, as they shouldnt without concrete proof... as was told to me over my concern of last years T-Shirt controversy, "it is just a swim meet." (which pisses me off to this day) Besides, when was the last time a "race" held in Chicago didnt have some controversy...
