Friday afternoon I`m having rotator cuff surgery. This past Sunday morning I did my last Ocean swim . It was great,..I swam a mile at a snails pace,..the chop,.. the taste of the salt water,. the view of the cliffs and coast,..:applaud:the smell of the sea breeze, the glare of the Sun,..the wind,..the view of the depths, the kelp, cool water,..what a blessing the Ocean is.

i had a torn labrum repaired about 10 years ago.... it took a few months to get back into the swing of things.
the water will be waiting for you.
Today , I got back in the water,..not the Ocean, the pool. I wore a sling that has a waist strap that keeps the arm from drifting away from my core. I tucked my thumb inside my speedo....10 laps kicking while wearing a snorkel. The doc. said it was ok,.just don`t lift or rotate the left arm. It felt great.
