It is a small, low key race in the Brigantine bay. Brigantine is located on the shore directly north of Atlantic City. It is usually held in the evening in conjunction with the Bayfest at the Brigantine Elk's club. The water is usually pretty warm and flat and there's usually not a lot of current. It is a legit 1 mile distance and is swum out and back.
I think it's on either the 23rd or 30th of August this year, but the exact date is probably on the DV Masters website under the events tab.

Thank you. I have a summer house in south jersey and have done some tris on Brigantine. I got all the forms, etc to enter. Was interested in feed back from some one as to the race itself.
