Hi all.
For anyone interested, there is a new open water swim race in NJ. It will be held this weekend on Long Beach Island, New Jersey in Barnegat Light. It is a mile ocean swim and at 6:30 pm at night.
It is their first annual swim so cannot say anything about it. But, LBI is great and so you will no doubt enjoy yourself before and after the swim.

Thanks for posting this! Can't make it this time around but putting it on my "want to do" list! I LOVE Long Beach Island and spent a lot of vacations in Barnegat Light--as well as Fire Island... two of my favorite beach points!
