Okay, being a chef for life has something to do with this.
As I swim I am always taking a little water into my nose. I have noticed as I cruise over and through different types of weed beds , bass beds, clear water and near wooded shores I can smell the difference underwater.
I also know now that I have allergies to some sea weeds...
The other day I could smell the Bass before I reached them... there they were , about five feet down ,just suspended a foot over their dished out beds.
Some weed beds smell so strong I want to hold my nose.:fish2:
I wonder if we have some electric receptors like pike do that we don't know about.
When my lane mate eats too much garlic for dinner the night before, we all know it at Sunday morning practice.
But I'll take that over the water smell of someone's aftershave any day.
