Fran Crippen and Andrew Gemmell were the first 2 men in Florida and both chose to swim the 5K and 10K in Rome.
Emily Brunemann and Eva Fabian were the first 2 men in Florida. Emily chose to swim the 5K and 10K in Rome while Eva chose to swim the 10K and 25K.
These decisions enabled the following individuals to fill in the rest of the team:
Emily Hanson (3rd in Florida) chose to swim the 5K and 25K.
Sean Ryan and Alex Meyer chose to both swim the 25K.
