Hi! I am going to the 2 mile cable championships in Lake Placid, NY August 15th. Is anyone else going?

I am not quite sure if I should go there in August. I am sure that this will be a great event but generally I am not so into open water swimming. Nevertheless I think I will go there. I love the suggestion of hiking Mt Marcy. I think I will definitely go for that. :D
