I was out this morning at 6 a.m. Swimming buddy didn't make it. Air temp about 46, water temp seems to have settled down in mid-50s. Brilliant blue sky, sun already well up it. Watched two cormorants fly in and settle in the water; they ride low, with longish necks, like periscopes.
Shall we see you again on September 12, for Big Shoulders? 2.5k or 5k, and the entry fee, part of which goes to support a Great Lakes coalition for clean water, is modest.
