I feel like I am putting myself at risk for many smart aleck comments by even posting that thread title....
I'm wondering if anyone did this Seattle race last year and what you thought. We're thinking it could be a good excuse for our family to visit the NW again, after living there for many years, and wanted to see what the swim was like.
Anyone have any experience?

I've done it a few times and its a great event. It seems to get more popular every year, so don't delay on entering.
Its a point to point race along the shore with about 150 people doing each of the 3+ mile and the 1 mile races. Navigation is pretty easy.
