My daughter who last year was the Channel Swimming Associations fastest woman and fastest American, has been invited to participate in the Dialogue across the Seas project in Tunisia. Her participation includes a two week tour, promoting swimming and physical fitness, and ends with a 10 mile open water swim in the Mediterianian (sp). When contacted about her possible participation she said, "let me see, two weeks, shorter distance (than Channel), warmer water, all expenses paid.... yes!". To her college professor, who suggested that she not swim her Senior year in College...because "it will never get you anything" phhhhhhhhhh! the above is a link to her blog.
