Quassapaug swim?

Anyone else doing the Quassapaug swims this coming weekend? I'd love course information from anyone who's done it before. And more important, how's the place for spectators? My son is totally over the whole standing at the shore thing, and since I'm planning on doing all three races, it will be a long day for him. Any opinions?

hi sydne, john h and i are doing all three and i know of at least two other metro and adms swimmers who are planning to go. the course is .75 miles long and goes perpendicular to shore (out and back) two loops for the 3 mile, 1 loop for the 1.5 mile. on another part of the lake and in view of the start is an amusement park. i'm not sure if it is a water park or a dry one, but your son might have a bit more fun there for a couple of hours. i believe it goes by the name "quassy" i found a link http://www.quassy.com/
