Kirk Nelson had a wonderful suggestion: to post pictures of where we swim OW. I'd love to see pictures of venues, vacation spots, and the local swimming hole.

This image was taken by my wife (suppport crew) at the start of the 2008 Governor's Island Race in NY Harbor. Beautiful day, but hot, and great water conditions. The scenery was pretty good, too.
