Hey,
Someone was telling me yesterday that there is a 3/8 mile buoy out there. I have not seen such a thing, either from up above or in the water. If there is one, is it on line between the quarter and half buoys or is it off to the side somewhere?
Also, Ron Lockman, if you are lurking about, I am game for a cove to shores swim one of the afternoons this weekend, now that my son is gone,

So Ron..out of idle curiousity, what is your goal for the five mile? 3hours or abouts?? Alos, how far is the night owl swim? Is it structured or is it a free for all...and do they have lights on the buous?? and where does one get these light sticks...I just joined the club...it is high time I actually met some of these people...sorry, I teach a nite class m-th, but I am hoping to run into during this sunspot cycle...anita too, you were very encouraging...even without meeting you , you guys made it seem doable..
