Hey,
Someone was telling me yesterday that there is a 3/8 mile buoy out there. I have not seen such a thing, either from up above or in the water. If there is one, is it on line between the quarter and half buoys or is it off to the side somewhere?
Also, Ron Lockman, if you are lurking about, I am game for a cove to shores swim one of the afternoons this weekend, now that my son is gone,

Well, I swam from the cove to the shores for the first time today...what FUN that is! Indulge my newbie excitement...the funny thing is, those distances do not LOOK far anymore, the mind is a curious thing...
So the B buoy is only...how very dissapointing. Thanks for the GPS thing, very illuminating..do ever get anything approaching a straight line? or is it all hunt and peck?
P.s. It is a heck of a lot easier to do without fog, though swimming inthe afternoon the waves were more of a pain...
