Hi all, I was wondering if any of you might have a link to the results of the USMS 10K Open Water Championships held at Clemson this past Saturday. I looked on the Clemson Aquatic Team website but cannot find any information. Thanks! K

Oh my lord!! :D I need to do something about those guns! I hope Landon doesn't see this! He may yell at me and tell me I didn't work it enough! :joker: If you look behind me, you'll see Matthew Rose, a great competitor. His sister is Olympic swimmer Gabrielle Rose (and a great swimmer and triathlete in his own right), and he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He and I were head to head the entire way. It came down to the last 200 meters or so. I wish he was doing the 25K with me! Did you see him wearing the new blueseventy suit? He's a great walking advertisement for blueseventy. Hey now, Ironman(gal)! The 25K is less than the Ironman/ Half Ironman that you've done! This swim would be a piece of cake for you at least in terms of time. I'm not really sure as to what kind of yardage is required for a 25K. I'll let you know after I attempt it! I've been averaging around 80 to 85 miles a month for a few months. . . I may do a few doubles (4 or so total) averaging around 14K a day just to prove I can handle race day of 25K. But not any more than that as I doubt I'll be able to recover. SR I swims about 6500 meters (if it's fly day) and up to 8,500 meters if it's distance free day. It's really the intensity and not the distance that's the challenge for me at least. See you at SWAT! Great job again to you as well. I think we've both improved quite a bit over the past year. Debbie is a great masters coach and she gave me some good sighting tips before the swim.
