Capri Napoli Marathon, known as the big cheat in the 60s. The official in the accopaning boat sold flippers to the competitors. It was run by the Egytian federation. I don't know what goes on there now. So, how did that work? Did he sell the flippers from the boat, after the race had started? :drown: How did the swimmers pay for them - did they stuff wads of dollar bills down their suits before they left shore? :) What other sorts of concessions could they buy during the race? :drink:
