I can recommend the Vansbro swim in Sweden July 11-13. water temps usually in the low to mid 60's, wetsuits allowed.
And I can add to the information they show. Last year they added a 5km open water national on friday.
I'll be going up on friday to try my luck at the 5km, sleeping over until sunday and doing the 3km.
the 3km swim has been popular over here, last year there were approx 4400 starters. womens (1240) winner 32:59 mens (3180) top 3 31:56, 31:57 and 31:58 very tight race considering it was 3km.
