This 2K race in Lady Bird Lake (the Lake formerly known as Town lake) sounds interesting and fun.

havn't done that one, but i swam the highland lakes challenge which included some swims in the nearby lakes....good fun. there will probably be a good turnout for the cap2k
I always wanted to do a swim in the lake formerly known as Town Lake.
There's hope yet. Cape Canaveral quietly got its name back, sans fanfare or public outcry, after 10 years of being Cape Kennedy.:bump:

True. I did not even know until I saw the info for the swim that they had renamed the lake. Tells you how much time I have spend in Austin in the last couple of years.
