I working toward a long distance goal/dream a few years down the line and as an intermediate step this summer I am increasing my open water competition swims. I have recently moved into the midwest and as a way to get my family involved in my swimmming travels, and learn the area, I thought I would try to get a swim in each of the Great Lakes this summer. I know of a few but was wondering if if hitting all five lakes is a possibility.

I'm not sure what races they might have there, but most of the south shore of Lake Ontario is New York state - Rochester, for example.

You're absolutely right! My bad! :doh: I thought Lake Ontario was entirely inside Canada.
