I'm planning on this one... more low-key than my Main Event this year, just to have some fun and enjoy one more o.w. swim event before retreating to indoor masters' practices.

BTW, not really o.w., but does anyone know of swim meets in the Philly area in the fall? So many of them seem to be a trek and I'd love to see more within the city limits or close by. Would be nice to have a fall/winter goal to shoot for.

Not doing it but keep me in your loop for next year. I will make a family weekend/vacation out of one of these Jersey swims :applaud:

I am bummed I won't be able to make Sept Splash this year - I am on call for my practice that weekend with no way out :cry: (had to do some major rearranging to make sure was off for the Swim4Life next week). I did the Splash 2 years ago - it wass such a nice swim and a great local group! Too bad, I'd love to meet FMIF in person some time!
Rachel, bummer about having to be on call! Hope we can meet at another swim... or maybe swim meet. I'm watching out for any in the Philly area....
Rich, lmsports, the company that times the Sept. Splash also works a few other swims in the summer. Not sure what my swim plans are for next year, but hoping to get in at least a couple o.w. swims. Wish I lived closer to open water events. The triathlons in the area use the Schuylkill but I don't do bikes. Thinking of getting a relay together with some running and tri friends. I'm curious about swimming in the Schuylkill and yet they never have stand-alone swims or aquathlons there. Oh well....
