Hi, My first post! OK, I missed registration on the Alcatraz100 so I was wondering if anyone knows of another 1-5K open swim events (either Lake or Ocean) in Washington, Oregon or California before summer ends?

The Oceanside Pier Swim was fun,...I bet there were 350 swimmers,...large waves ( maybe 5 feet), spaced out about 90 seconds , and a strong rip behind each of them. Many folks got beat up getting thru them and some quit. I missed the finish line by about 50 yards due to the current,..had to run back up the beach. 27:15
