Nor Cal Events?

I swam Barreyessa earlier this month and the Folsom today... this is great fun...can anybody direct me to other Nor-Cal events during this summer season? I already signed up for Alcatraz and might do the Tiboron Mile. Mike Try www.pacificmasters.org, look on the schedule page and you'll find all of the sanctioned events for the Pacific LMSC. Recruit a partner and you can enter the 21st Annual Manatee Masters 2 x 1 Mile Relay at Quarry Lakes in Fremont.

Also check out water world sports. They do a number of different Bay swims which are well organized and interesting. There is a also a swim put on by the Embarcadero YMCA which is from Treasure Island which is a lot of fun. Between those web sites and the Pacific Masters I think you will find out about most nocal swims.

If it's not sold out, do the Tiburon Mile. I'll be there. I did it on '04 and found it to be a great swim. The venue is awesome.

Don't miss the Donner Lake swim August 11. 2.7 miles, can be pretty chilly, but I think this year will be pleasant. It is so beautiful. It is listed on the PMS site.
