I've never done a swim before where you need to get your own kayaker, so if I'm not going about this right, I hope you'll bear with me.
I am planning to do the Great South Bay swim (site doesn't have instrux up yet but I expect it will soon--but here it is: www.greatsouthbayswim.com).
If you are a kayaker or know of someone you can recommend who lives in the area, I'll be grateful if you can PM me. I'm also talking to a relative in the area who might be able to suggest someone.

check your email, I tried to connect you with a contact who should know paddling clubs in the area and has supported MIM. Also you might look for paddlers listed on MIM and surf the site to see if you can find contacts.
