Boats for the Trans-Tahoe

I have sent in my application to do the trans-tahoe as a solo. My problem is to find a powerboat! I already have a kayak that routinely supports me on longer swims but I am supposed to have a powerboat too. hHe problem is the listed marinas all say they are out of boats for the event, so can anyone suggest where and how I might best come by a boat? Any ideas on costs? I imagine there are other swimmers also seeking boats who might chime in! Thanks!!
