OW Enthusiasts, List the events you will be swimming this season. Here are some of mine (many are not on the calendar yet) 1. Lady Liberty 1.5k May 27 2. Chesapeake Bay 4.4 mi 3. Mashpee Super Swim 5k June 23 4. Lake George (various distance events) June 30 - July 1 5. Huntington Bay 10k USMS national championship July 14 6.   • I've never done open water races before (im more of a sprinter in any event) but I have been increasing my consecutive swim times to 2hours so, I am feeling the confidece bug. I am considering swimming in the lake george OW (esp. since theres a 500m) but I also hope to do some races over in NJ in the ocean. I'm not sure when they are, haven't yet looked into it, but I know they're there::family goes to the jersey shore every summer and they always have fliers and such for them... Try www.lmsports.com for some NJ races. I did the Swim for the Dolphins and the OC Masters Swims last year and they were a lot of fun. The Bridge to Bridge swim in AC was fun too. The September Splash is on the bay side, so it is calmer. Good luck. Maybe I will see you there. Swimmy :)
