other options for open water swims?

A friend and I did not get picked in the Chesapeake Bay Swim lottery. We now need a new plan. Can anyone suggest other east coast events that are 3 or more miles in length? thanks

Looks like they accepted EVERYONE from the lottery list! That is so awesome! Hopefully there are lots of happy people out there.
