A friend and I did not get picked in the Chesapeake Bay Swim lottery. We now need a new plan. Can anyone suggest other east coast events that are 3 or more miles in length? thanks

Little Red Lighthouse swim - I did it when it was still 7.8 miles and it was a BLAST. Must be really, really comfortable in the open water/waves, however.

although, the swim is now 5.85 miles, the directors are intent in keeping the duration of the this race about the same as when it was 7.8 miles.
