The OW season in N. AMerica is wrapping up. Its time to dream about next year and years in the future. So what are the best swims to dream of or even plan to do?

The short answer to your question is that there are people who swim year round. There are some who live in places like Hawaii or the Carribbean which is less challenging. I'm envious of their situation.
I live in the USVI (hence my Caribbean-focused dream season list). While we could all swim year round here, a lot of us actually get quite wimpy basically from Nov-Feb (i.e. right after Coral Reef/Bonaire swims) and complain that the water is "too cold". (obviously we don't use wetsuits here) I used to live in San Diego but now I'm spoiled and I have so much respect for the La Jolla Cove swimmers!!! One day I'll be back and wonder why I thought the high 70s in the Caribbean winter was chilly! :laugh2: I'm going to try to keep my swimming consistent this winter though. If anyone's going to be down here this winter, let me know and we can organize a good swim!
