The OW season in N. AMerica is wrapping up. Its time to dream about next year and years in the future. So what are the best swims to dream of or even plan to do?

  • Very interesting lists. In a perfect year, I would want to do all of Randy's list--specify the Elk Lake Swims in Bend for his non-specific Oregon swims--its unbelievably gorgeous, snow topped mountains, great little town, friendly welcoming swimmers and a unique format with 5 events in 3 days. For Big City swims, I would add Big Shoulders in Chicago. Any reason to go to Chicago is a good one and its a classic race with a loop course, visible skyline during the swim. In Hawaii, I would add the Waikiki Roughwater to the Labor Day duo with the Maui Channel Swim. What are the dream season swims that people haven't done? I seem to have a very conflicted personality because the two domestic(more or less) swims I would like to do that I haven't done are the Bonaire Swim and the Pennock Island swim.
