Portugese Man O War

We're planning a winter break trip to southern Florida next week and hoping to get in some ocean swimming, as we've been doing for the past x years now. Problem is that I've been checking the ocean conditions for the past 3 weeks or so and it seems that nearly every day they've had warnings for Man O War. Also, nearly every day, winds have been from the east, presumably the reason. Aside from the obvious strategy of avoiding the ocean, is there any other way to have a reasonably good chance of avoiding these pests? We're not overly concerned about sharks or rip currents or jelly fish, only Man O War. Thanks
