Doing the Alcatraz SharkFest Saturday. I've done two OW swim tris, and a bunch of OW training in the last few weeks. Any Alcatraz-specific advice re: sighting, when to get off the ferry, etc??

Another piece of advice, don't swim too far to the left of the entrance to Aquatic Park. Swimming along the breakwater sucks. I made that mistake this morning and ended up adding almost a quarter mile to my swim, and it was against a slight flood tide. But otherwise a good swim, though I have no idea what my time was. Hopefully the results will be posted soon.
