Excuse my ignorance, but was/is there an open water swim in this year's Olympics? (I've been too busy to read the paper, watch the TV, or search the net.) Thanks in advance.
Nope, you didn’t miss it. There is no Open Water Swimming in the Olympics. We have been trying to get in for many years and it looks there may be an open water 10K in 2012. The wheels of progress turn slowly
